CHARITY A GATEWAY TO HEAVEN?

A single dollar given as charity with love and empathy is far more powerful than a kingdom given for selfish ends. I must emphasise here that the act of giving, howsoever powerful it may be, is ultimately only a reflection of the inside world of the giver.

It is not in the giving that I become entitled to heaven,

rather it is the giving from a state of heaven inside which determines my entitlement.

The quantum of charity is meaningless because even a simple blessing emerging from the heart with unadulterated love shall bring untold benefits both to the receiver and the giver; for the law of attraction is unchangeable and perfect.

My thoughts and beliefs are the determinants of where I will be in the current world and in the after world.

Afterlife cannot be purchased with wealth, neither can it be outsourced.

What I give out has to multiply and come back.

These words to me are the essence of true giving and I find it so beautifully worded. I feel this is how the giver themselves feel like they are receiving the deepest grace and joy, of being recieved by the other. Such giving is more a guided act than a calculated action from the mind.

Absolutely, the beautiful breath of word, that runs like a golden thread through all sacred books or spiritual language.

  3. During the years that I raised my sons alone in Brazil, I received countless gifts (tangible and intangible) from neighbors, colleagues, and strangers that gave me the strength and courage to go on. My gratitude to them all is to spread their goodness in whatever way I can.

  4. Another remarkable article from a sensitive writer. I loved these lines – ‘It is not in the giving that I become entitled to heaven, rather it is the giving from a state of heaven inside which determines my entitlement.’ Simply beautiful. πŸ‘πŸ™Œ
